Towering high above the Drumheller Valley, Tyra, the World’s Largest Dinosaur offers visitors a unique and breath-taking view of the badlands. Visitors climb 106 stairs inside the dinosaur to experience the Drumheller Valley from Tyra’s gaping jaw. Located at the base of the dinosaur, is the giftshop for official “Tyra” the World’s Largest Dinosaur branded merchandise, along with a selection of locally sourced items. Attached to Tyra, the Visitor Information Centre offers exceptional customer service for those visitors requiring information on places to stay and things to see and do while visiting the Drumheller Valley and surrounding area.
15% of admission revenues, and 15% of gift shop sales are directed to the World’s Largest Dinosaur Legacy Fund. This fund reinvests money directly back into community economic development initiatives in the Drumheller region.
